I have a question for the chatters...will anyone be purchasing anything scrapbook-related with their tax refund and/or eco incentive gov't check?

I would LOVE to but we will be using it for some home improvement projects. DH wants a small shed for out back and we are going to get new flooring for out bathrooms, kitchen, and dining room.

On kind of the same note, I was listening to the radio while driving to work the other day and one of the local stations has a "double your salary" contest. When the winner was asked what she was planning on doing with the money she replied (without hesitation) "new scrapbook suppies!!!!!!" That sure made my morning knowing that a scrapper won the big prizes and was using the winnings to fulfill her creative needs!! LOVE IT!

Ash, what is your favorite part of the LO-creating process?

getting down what I wanted to remember...
because its like I can actually say to myself..."just in case you forget it...you recorded it...so don't worry about never remembering".

Ash, what do you do to get yourself out of a creative slump?

honestly...and i know you might think I'm just saying this...but i come HERE. i am in awe of just how much talent is here..
i wade through my favorites folder...
i look at my fellow fashionistas portfolios...
i flip through my inspiration binder that I have....

i really, honestly and truly try not to overthink things...i try to stay grounded and remember WHO and WHY I do this for...

Yep...they go in binders...(simple school type binders) and they are lined up in the top shelf of my closet...

did you read in the newsletter about how i have them divided into binders?

i wicked overthink things and that i totally my downfall...

its very very easy to do my love...
you are human...
we want, we NEED validation...
but i try my best to remember that in 15 years...the stress won't be the issue...what i put in those albums will...
and if i scrapped fluff..it will show.
and i will regret it.

no-likey red wine... not me.

I scrap much better after a drink though. cuz i over think also. sometimes I love a picture or memory so much that I think I can't do it justice with the products I have. make sense?
